By road the distance between this attractive village and the peninsula’s main town is only 4 miles or less, yet the coastline on this side of the peninsula is quite different to the more barren coastal scenery of the southern side and features some wonderful little coves and lush pine clad mountains.

Back in Torba you might like to take a boat trip as the marina in Torba is the terminus for ferry services from the Bodrum Peninsula to Didyma. Didyma is an ancient site and a great place to go for a day trip, plus you can also make use of the ferry to visit two other ancient sites, Priene and Miletus.

 

While holidays in Torba are perfect for those who want a quieter time the village still has everything you’ll need in terms of shopping, dining and nightlife.
