To get to your accommodation in Oludeniz you’ll be arriving on a flight to Dalaman International Airport. This is one of the region’s best established airports and serves many towns and resorts along the Aegean Coast. Airlines have been flying here from the UK for many years so there’s a very good selection of airlines to choose from. More choice means there’s competition for your business, so prices stay very reasonable!

Dalaman Airport is about 50 miles by road from Oludeniz, and what a spectacular journey the transfer is! As you emerge into the pine clad mountains above Fethiye you’ll see some of the most beautiful views in Turkey, making the roughly 90 minutes journey a pleasure. To get here you may decide to rent a car directly from the airport. A hire car is highly recommended to make the most of your holiday in Oludeniz anyway, so when you factor in the cost of an airport transfer each way this may make more economical sense.

 

There’s some confusion over which village is Oludeniz and which is Hisaronu, as some maps seem to call Hisaronu wrongly as Oludeniz. Hisaronu is actually an inland village resort that, like Oludeniz has grown in popularity over recent years. Hisaronu now offers many accommodation, dining, and drinking options much like Oludeniz does. Strictly speaking, Oludeniz is right on the coast and includes the famous Blue Lagoon, so if you’re checking locations on a map, make sure you’re looking at the right place and don’t end up booking your holiday in Oludeniz somewhere else!
