With Bodrum being so close by you can also make the most of the many shops in this larger town. It’s less than 2 miles to Bodrum from Gumbet and you can get there by dolmus or taxi very cheaply. Bodrum has even more shops than Gumbet and the ones in the older part of the town that line the narrow streets are a lot of fun to explore.

 

Whether you’re shopping in Gumbet or nearby Bodrum there are always certain items that are popular to buy in Turkey. Clothing is very well priced and of a good quality and you’ll often find designer name clothes at great prices, though they’re fakes of course!
