Once you’ve arrived on your holiday in Turunc you’ll find it difficult to leave this idyllic place. The beautiful beach, the quaint village, and the secluded bay make Turunc an unforgettable destination. As difficult as it is to leave the confines of the village, there are many lovely places you can visit nearby when on holiday in Turunc.

Further away is one of Turkey’s most famous and impressive ancient ruins, Ephesus. These ruins are a good few hours drive but they are amongst the most impressive ruins in the world, so well worth the journey. If you travel by rental car it gives you the freedom to stop at places along the way too, or join one of our tour groups leaving from Icmeler.

 

Like all great destinations on the Aegean Coast you’ll find there are several opportunities to get out on the water when on holiday in Turunc. You could take a dolmus to Icmeler or Marmaris but why not travel in style and make use of the water taxis that depart from Turunc? This is a wonderful way to travel and an affordable way of getting to see the spectacular coastline. Tourist boat trips are also available to show you the coast in more detail and these are amongst the most popular excursions for people on holiday in Turunc.

 

While boat cruises allow you to see the water from the surface, scuba diving is a great way to see underwater life. Scuba diving excursions can be arranged from right here in Turunc.

 

If you do travel to Marmaris you have even more options for boat trips. There’s a hydrofoil to the popular town of Bodrum, or travel to the Greek island of Rhodes which is only one hour on the hydrofoil from Marmaris.

 

Surrounded by pine clad mountains this is the perfect place to enjoy some hiking while on holiday in Turunc. Make your way up from the village and hike amongst the pine trees, enjoying areas of shade and gentle breezes, and of course spectacular views!
