Hi Steve all i can say is i hope you will be as lucky as me and avoid the op i was told 6 weeks ago i would have to go under the knife but have had 6 weeks intensive treatment and fingers crossed its working. I am going to icmeler in 2 1/2 weeks and i didnt think i would make that so it can work. Dont give up hope treatment can work.

Bad back

Postby Jozzyd » 16 Apr 2008 18:31

Had a disc removed 18 months ago and got all the usual 6 weeks recovery and stuff!!!!!!!! Same day I had it done I was up and about and home the day after then took the kids away for a week in a caravan 6 days after that. Know yours must be worse with 20 week recovery but it's the best thing I ever did! Good luck and will be watching for your progress reports. Keep positive :)

Hi Steve,

I read in a book somewhere the best thing for a bad back is an ice cold Efes or five, and Icmeler sunshine.
My family and I are going out for 2 weeks in August from the 4th, if our paths cross I will buy you a beer, purely medicinal you understand!!

Good luck mate.
