Hiya
Long time sufferer here, but no longer! Last year I did tons of internet research into causes and effects as I was venturing over to
Icmeler in July and was dreading the rash and itching. Short and long of it - antihistamines often make it worse. High factor sun creams often make it worse. I used to slap on factor 30 and take cetrizine daily. I don't do either of these now. I changed to an allergy reliever, which is a weird infra red thing you stick up your nose for 3 minutes 3 times a day - calms down inflamation and reduces the histamine response in your body - you can buy them from a particular chain of chemists in the UK for about £15 (not sure if I'm able to name, begins with an L

). I now use factor 20 or less too.
I did July and September last year with no prickly heat, after suffering awfully for years. Also did a hot week at the end of May this year, and will be back there in 11 days. I know it goes totally against most of the advice given, but it totally worked for me so wanted to share
