viewtopic.php?f=30&t=10592My husband was part of that group and it took the first ones about an hour to reach the top, and about the same coming back down. It's not an easy walk - far from it - and parts of it are very steep and rocky. He says that he would recommend anyone planning to do it to wear sensible shoes and long trousers - there are a lot of prickly gorse-type bushes along the way. No matter what time of day you were setting off, you'd also need to take a decent amount of water to drink on the way.
