Hi,
We are also staying at the Kapmar in July for two weeks. We are going with our two daughters aged 19 and 16 and a couple of their friends. Do you think teenagers will like it? Is it hard getting a lounger round the pool? Some places we have been to require you to get up so early to get a lounger due to people putting towels out. Also can you please tell me what the food is like and prices at the hotel, any information would be really appreciated :D

As we went in late Sept the pool area was quite there is another lounge area above the pool so looks as if there enough room for all. We liked the place for a couple of reason's first there is no hassel by the staff to buy anything
the place has been done up location great staff very nice indeed, the price of drinks is also very good.We have been going to Icmeler since 1998 so been a few hotels the breakfast is ok take your our teabags coffee ok.
Hope this helps.Cheers

Hi, we have just returned from the Kapmar after a 2 week stay.
The hotel is very good and is in a great location. The pool area is good with plenty of sunbeds and there is a "sun terrace" above the pool on the first floor where again there are plenty of beds.
The staff are excellent with no hassle and can't do enough for you. The reception staff are great, speak good enough English and are also very pretty. There were three adults in or room with plenty of space. The rooms were cleaned every day to a good standard.
The prices for meals are higher than the cafes in the area but that is to be expected. The bar prices are also higher but not too much bottle of efes is 6YTL and it is 4YTL in most of the bars.
We booked to go on the all inclusive boat trip and the jeep safari with ICR and they were both very good, we got soaked on the jeep safari and never stopped laughing throughout the trip.
Just three gripes.
1/ There are not enough sun umbrellas around the pool
2/ The music is very loud around the pool bar, we had to ask for the music to be turned down EVERY day and got a round of aplause from the other guests when they did do it.
3/ Watch the bills when you run up a tab, they do not do it on purpose but they do make a lot of mistakes. We just ended up paying as we go to stop the drama.
All in all we had a great time and the two trips were fantastic value. The staff at ICR were very helpful even though we did book through Tomson (we never did see a Tomson rep).
Have a great holiday. Eck

Surely the thompson rep must have had a welcome meeting on your first or second day? there is always a board up to tell you who they are and what time they will be in the hotel, we only go to the welcome meeting to show our face we don't ever book any trips with them.

It's in the main square Cassia, however they don't have fridges in the rooms and when I e-mailed there's no option to hire one. Has been getting very good reviews though
