Not being a football fan, and also Scottish (ha ha!), I have no interest in the World Cup! When will the World Cup finish? I go to Icmeler on the 3rd July for 2 wonderful weeks and just want to know how long I will have to endure the pain :D :D

It's 21:30 Turkish Local Time.

We'll be there during the early stages of the tournament, cheering on whoever England are playing against

I can't wait to watch the World Cup in the sun. When the last football was on we watched most matches in either the Pop Inn or the 3 Bells on the Tansas road.
Not sure where we will watch it this time but as long as the Efes is Cheap and it's warm and sunny i aren't too bothered.

I'm not a football suporter so try to avoid it, particularly on holiday. However I was just across the water in Rhodes in 2002 when I watched the final England game with a group of Germans. We had a great time.

Well we're a pair of football widows Im afraid.
Not that Im against it, just not my thang!! Love my rugby instead. :D
Ive no doubt, its gonna be a great atomsphere, just looking forward to maybe finding a little retreat somewhere for us - just till after the matches anyways.
Though it is amazing how one sport can bring so many people together, and if everyone is happy, that makes life and holidays happy too.
bring it on...yey.. :D :D

I saw the 2002, 2006 world cup games in Icmeler and will be in icmeler for the 2010 world cup games, can't remember if Turkey is in this one but if they are, when they win a game the whole town erupts, car horns blarring flags waving. absolutely brilliant
