Drinks in Dalaman airport

A friend of mine has just flown out of Dalaman airport after docking there from a cruise & she told me that you are no longer allowed to take drinks into the air port. They had to either drink them before going through or place them in a bin of which she said that there were even alcoholic drinks put in the bin. That there are people making sure that you do not take drinks through.Has any one else found this happen to them this year?

Yes, that's correct - new security regulations have been brought into force recently which mean you can no longer take liquids in with you.

I wonder how on earth they can afford the extra administration costs to operate these restrictions. After all when we came home last year they ONLY charged equivalent of £14 for ONE can of Efes and ONE 1/4ib with cheese!

Perhaps we should start a whip round for the poor M*****r F******s!

your allowed to take drinks through the first set of security when you walk in the door
but after check in there is a new security point been put there just before passport control
its there that your not allowed to take drinks through
