Postby JANUARYBABE » 10 May 2010 11:35

Hi, has anyone stayed at these apartments we are going in August for 2 weeks, prefer a resonably quiet holiday and have been advised this accomodation is at the back of the Old Village ??

Blue star arent at the back of the old village
they arent to ofar from the town centre
you could walk it in about 20 mins but the dolmus stops right outside the door and takes you right into the centre in 5 mins for 1TL per person

i am also staying at the bluestar for two weeks in august , we have stayed in these apts before in 2008 ,the rooms are basic and they are clean , we had no complaints with them when we were there last time , they are not too far from the town centre, its quite a nice walk to the town and back , and they are in a quiet location , we are looking forward to staying here again , roll on august :D

me and my family stay at the blue star every year this will be our 12th time. the appartments are very basic but very clean the cleaner works very hard. when we first went tommy was the manager now he has his own resturant just up the road next to the F and B mini market. Tommys resturant is execellent value for money he will cook anything you want. The blue star is small and very friendley the pool is one depth and is cleaned everyday they also have a baby pool . They do bar meals and snacks and full english breakfasts which are very nice. They have a pool table and sky T. V. The blue star is about a 20 min slow walk from the center of town or you can get a dolmus or taxi. The area is pretty quiet, there is a bakery in the old villige were you can buy fresh bread or buns which is only 5min walk away. There are also barbers whare you can get a shave or hair cut. We have met many familys over the years and made many friends which some we still keep in touch with we have looked at other appartments but we always go back to the blue star we are looking forward to september and our hols.dont forget tommys just up the road a really warm welcome. hope this helps kenny

hi there, ive been told that the bar manager from the efes inn now runs these apartments and has taken some of his family with him. if its true they will be a huge miss to the efes but excellent for blue star guests, he has been superb as long as i have known him and thats nearly 10 years :D
