New Pier

Have any businesses moved into the units on the new pier yet. I have walked up there for the last two years and they are all brand new yet empty.

Such a shame as it could be a lovely place for people to go down to & browse! As it is, we normally go down for a wander then head back along the beach! Would love some wee shops to browse around & spend my hubby's money

Thinks it needs a nice cafe/bar so we can sit in the sun and watch the boats, with a small drink, or 2.

I'd love to see some seating on the pier as love the breeze you get along there. A cafe would be brilliant and sure it would be a big success. Why don't the council reduce the rent on these units for, say, for first year so that traders could see how it goes, seems daft that they're sitting empty. If I had the money I'd buy one and set up a nice wee Scottish kitchen - anyone willing to put up the dosh

Sounds good to me, dotty - I'd be quite happy to lend a hand. I make a mean pot of stovies! :D
