Can anyone confirm if
Icmeler Market has been closed down? I think I remember reading a post when all the demolitions/alterations were started that it was being closed down and a college being built in it's place? I was looking forward to going round the market coz I would love to have a go at haggling.

Have they changed the location or is it still where it always was?

I thought the market was next to the apartments we have booked (not sure I can mention them on here because they cant be booked through ICR). I hope it is because I can go shopping without TOH and be able to carry the bags home ha ha!

I always love going to the market.I try to get there before 9am as its not so hot as later.I smile at some of the stalls as they spit on your money and drop it on the ground if you are first customer of the day. Turkish custom Im told.
