I agree that the Champion bar is excellent, great atmosphere and as has been said Rosie is lovely very welcoming. Remember visting the bar last year and Rosie remembered us from the year before and even knew what we would have to drink. Never had the food there but it was very well priced

Hi Annie
It's on the "Around Icmeler" Map. A little bit tucked away, but well worth finding.

From the Chill bar walk along the side street past the
ICR office past where Scotia bar was and Champion is on left side. Buffalo bar is opposite Champion bar and down about 30 metres. Buffalo bar also offers very good prices on Efes and usually has karaoke, if you like that sort of thing

Allins Grill next to Tansas can be quite cheap and food is quite nice, have a had a couple of snack in there and am light evening meal when sick of haveing big meals. You get a soft drink free with most things.

Hi all we have been going to heaven for many years and I cannot believe that we have not eaten at some of the resturants mentioned but we have never even heard of some of them

. Could I please ask that when you recommend somewhere that you give us poor souls a location we would be happy with just Old Village or Main Town, then hopefully we can try somewhere new in september

The Jasmine, next to the Irish bar does lovely meals.
They were 2 for £9 last year and in 2008 they did huge English breakfasts for £1.
We never had one but we used to wonder how they could charge so little for such a huge portion?

The Holiday is always good value for money. Their set meals are excellent - never had a bad meal there yet, and the staff are really friendly too. The pancakes are lovely.

I love the kardelin my OH insists that the first thing we do when we arrive is go there for his Pede, Aryan and Tahinli fix

icmeler prices have risen slightly this year.cigarettes are up from 3.50 to 5.25(l&ms)malboro have shot up to 8.Beer is expected to rise to 5 and meal prices are expected to rise slightly.Turkish kitchens provide excellent value for money for a change, bahar pizza provides tasty food at reasonable prices its worth a try if only for lunch nefes pide i would also highly recommend. All the tourist places tend to be priced at similar rates give or take a few lire

if a beer everywhere in
icmeler will be costing 5 lira then with the current exchange rate of 2.25ytl to the pound that will make a pint of lager costing about £2.20 which is crazy concidering a pint over here in uk averages between £2.80 - £3.00.
Even though i never been to icmeler before, im sure we will find lots of little places with sell cheap beer with still
abit of an good atmosphare.
Me and wife and In-Laws coming over on the day when the world cup kicks off on 11.June for two weeks and we cannot wait.

Most places doing 4 lira when open as I have been talking to them.
Restaurants like Bonjour will be 5 lira.
The price of goods in Turkey has risen so quickly it is unreal.
If you find steak for less than 30 lira then it is probably donkey.
I have been shopping a lot lately trying to get things sorted in the house and here is an example of the prices in food shops that have made me say jeez amongst other words,
Beefsteak 40 lira a kilo
Lamb chops 32 lira
Mince for bolognese 24 lira
The one that nearly knocked me over was lambs liver for 11 quid a kilo
Expect things to go up here as they have to raise prices to cover costs
