Jacqui +, Myself cant wait to fight the stray dogs that chase and bark and bite our kids..From the streets to the restaraunts you will allways find stray dogs. Dont give money to waiters who have a dog for 6 month and then dump it in Icmeler during the winter.

Big party for my 36th last year at the Istabull.... only to be spoiled by a DOG in the kids play area.
1 dog had my 2 kids pinned up against a wall screaming blue murder.... all because it was a puppy who would not bite!..

Bull jobbies!!.. It's a restaraunt, why have dogs or even cats??????

I've never had a problem with dogs or cats in Icmeler - can't even say I've seen that many stray dogs, to be honest. Live and let live, I say...

(Oh, and if your kids are screaming, it's hardly likely to make the situation any better, by the way!)

I'm with jambogarry on this one. I have seen packs of them on the beach at night. And have had a bad experience before with a dog in icmeler...the restaurant owners seem to think it's fine that they go around chasing people and biting children.

Try telling the kids that!!! When pinned against a wall in the KIDS PLAY AREA.

The Situation was only made better by ME kicking that dog up and down the PLAY AREA and to keep IT away from MY KIDS.

I would do this in ...ANY PART OF THE WORLD....

By the way.. Blame the kids for screaming why dont you :P Blondie (very Cheap digg if you ask me).

The dog should not have been in the restaurant never mind the KIDS PLAY ROOM.

Jambogarry, it wasn't my intention to have a cheap dig at anyone. I just feel stray dogs and cats get a hard enough time in some places without people over-reacting to the situation. Children do have very high-pitched voices and squealing and screaming around dogs only exacerbates the situation. I honestly didn't intend to have a go at you or your family - I'm just pointing out that, in general, if more people brought their children up to know how to behave around animals, it would be better all around. Keeping calm and quiet in these situations is honestly the best course of action. I've only too often seen kids run up to strange dogs shouting and squealing - yes, I know it's often through excitement - but that kind of behaviour can be enough to set a dog off. Hysterical knee-jerk reactions do no-one any favours and only give the anti-dog brigade more ammunition.
