I saw a report on television that stated that eruptions could recur at anytime over the next 2 to 3 years.

This is some thing else for we all to keep an eye on and to think about.

Stuck in Germany, Lufthansa can't get me on a flight until Monday but I have managed to book a train for Sunday which was the first one available all solidly booked.

You have my sympathies Dave, we spent 3 nights in Frankfurt airport with Lufthansa at christmas on the way to Istanbul due to the smow! and we didnt see our luggage from checking it in at manchester on 21st dec until 25th (xmas day) at the hotel! and our luggage wasn't at manchester when we got back home either on the 28th, they delivered it in a van to my home on new years eve! Lufthansa are rubbish, I will never travel with them again! hope it turns out ok for you love, Eve x
