Hi this will be my first time to Icmeler as for the last eight years we've gone to Hisaronu. Can anyone reccomend a good reliable jewellers in Icmeler please. Hubby's going to buy me a diamond ring for my 60th this year and would love to come home with it sparkling after a good holiday. The annoying thing is we know just the place to go for it in Hisaronu (and where not to) so without sounding rude we don't want to be ripped off or come home with anything fake.
Hope I haven't offended anyone by saying this as we are Turkey and Turkish people lovers and would feel very bad if it was taken the wrong way.

Hmm its a bit of a question this one as different people have their favourites.

I myself have used the same jeweller for years after using a few others so stick with them and they make sure I am happy.

If you would like me to introduce you so you know you will be looked after then pop into the office in Icmeler and I will take you over.

i have bought several rings from turkey and have always used marmaris gold centre, the service is top rate and they will make any ring to your spec, we bought our first ring 4yrs ago then had it altered last year( more stones added) when i bought myself a ring.

free shuttle to and from maramris normally your apartments can arrange this do have a card for the guy who we see every time but cant seem to find it, will pm you if i manage to find it.

its worth a visit just to see the £30,000 plus items on show.

I would never recommend the gold centre or any other large place- Too many pushy salespeople on comıssıon results ın beıng way overcharged.

Ah see what I mean about favourites yet I have a different opinion of the gold cetre.

Rami paid a lot of money last year for a watch from there for me and I had to go back with him as it wouldn't fit properley and was too tight.

They said they could not do it and had to send it to Switzerland to get a link put in, so 3 weeks later I got it back after they told me it had been sorted.

It was the same size so they took a lot of money and their after sales was rubbish.

I only buy from the Sultan jewellers (under Prince Apartments) - you can browse for as long as you want with no hassle at all. I've been pleased with everything I've bought there over the last 8 or so years, as have people I've recommended them to.

As John says, everyone has their favourite.
