Been back a week

Postby DODGY DAVE » 18 Jul 2006 20:34

Been back a week and ready for another one ?????

Had a total chill out 2 weeks in heaven ( icmeler )

This was our third visit and have convinced the eldest daughter and grand kids to come with us next year .

Cant wait as we again had a brill time trying to eat at a different place every night apart from love boat and waterfall . They are a must every visit .

Stayed at the Efes inn hotel which was fantastic even though the centrally operated air con was a bit iffey , the staff were brilliant .

Places we ate at this time were the Wayside just up the side of the tansas , Hamdi and Ozkan ( ex of the love boat ) now own this business and it is spot on , my kids are dodgy eaters but asked Hamdi for their special requests and he was only too happy to oblige .

Had good meals at the Elif , the Kingsland for a really authentic Indian , the Piop Inn, to mention a few .

Never had a dodgy meal in three years of visits to Icmeler .

Love the place , it is rapidly becoming our second home .

Roll on the next one .

Gule Gule

Thanks for posting a report Dave so that we all could share in your holiday
Thats the problem with holidays we have to come home, but at least you have all those memories to last you till next year when you take all the family, then a great time guaranteed with the young ones keeping you young.

Thanks again for a nice report

Ah Dave so glad you enjoyed your holiday. We are stopping in the Efes in two weeks time and I have heard reports about the air con. Was that your only problem with the hotel? We have stayed there for the last six years and love it especially the staff. :)

Hi Doz
sorry for the delay but in answer to your question , yes that was my only gripe . the hotel and its staff are fabulous . Every member of the staff always had time to come up to the family and shake hands and ask if we were ok . that is a nice touch because it makes you feel welcome and respected .
We will be back again without doubt .

Excellent Dave I am off there in a week and a bit and will give you a full report on my return. My room is already pre-booked with the hotel who I fax before my arrival and book it with the reception. Maybe try that next time? Make sure you get a cool and breezy room! Cheers Dave x
