You may say "A Man Dressing Up As A Woman"
I know loads of women who look like men even after dressing up, its just that Michael aka Stella looks more feminine than a lot of women here in Derbyshire
The Show is worth a visit and the views out to sea are a bonus.

We went to see the show for the first time last year, and it's hilarious! Stella's version of "One day at a time, sweet jesus" dressed as a nun, had me in stitches, and the finale - "I am what I am" - is brilliant. We'll definitely be going back in may. I suppose some people might find it offensive, but anyone with an open mind and a sense of humour would love it. I saw quite a few big, burly, he-man types with tears rolling down their faces.

You are quite right, any drag show is about takeing it for what it is, and that is entertainment. What used to make me laugh is the big burly guys who think they are being funny, and think they are saying something really clever but it's all been said before and any good Drag Artist can quite easilly put them in in there place it's usually the Artist that has the last laugh.

Have had this from Michael (Stella) himself...he has renewed his contract with the Harmony bar with 2 new shows, so it would appear that Robin Hood bar has been scrapped.
Harmony Bar has had a bar refit, so will be interesting to see what it is like.
On Facebook, you can get a link by putting in Stella Show (offical Fan Page). Email address is

When we first heard about this show, I was extremely reluctant to go, thinking it just wasn't my kind of thing. However, whilst on a visit to
icmeler with a different group of friends I decided to tag along with them when they wanted to see the show. I am so glad I went. We had a really good night out and I have paid a few visits since then. My daughter and myself usually have an evening out at the show because it's such good entertainment and we've always enjoyed a very nice meal at the Harmony too. As mentioned, the drinks are a bit more expensive but then we would only go there once during a holiday and it does make a change from our other favourite haunts.

I've been a regular in
Icmeler for the last 10 years! Have never been to this show
After reading all your reviews, I think we may give it a go this year! We will have my 12 year step-daughter with us this year. Can you possibly tell me if it would be suitable for her?
Thanks
