I think that, if they hassle too much just walk away and dont go back. We go to Yasmins every year and the same goes for him no hassle, this year my husband wanted to get me a new charm bracelet i have lots of charms but the bracelet was too small, but by this time as ever the holiday went to quick i choose one and didnt like it after it was done,so Ibrahim and Rebbeca his wife said leave it to us they had one made and Rebbecas parents bought it to England for us,at know point were we asked about payment for this bracelet in fact we chased him to pay him.And we really did get agood deal at todays value its worth nearly 4 times what we eventually paid.So we were very happy .

We have used Tony's Jewellery opposite the L'Etoile
hotel for the last 4 years. Very trustworthy, doesn't hassle you or put you under pressure to buy. This year, he even chased us as our
transfer coach arrived to take us to
Dalaman airport with the appraisal for the jewellery that we had bought this year.

agree with the others, don't send the imposter ring off, because you'll be left with nothing. he should send you a new one, then you could agree to return the other one.
its a bit like selling on ebay relying on peoples honesty. Then they say they havent received it and you loose the item and the money.
Good luck with it though.

I've never understood why people buy expensive jewellery on holiday when there is no guarantee, except the word of someone you'll be unlikely to meet again.

Even if you took it back next year - its a year later and people have very short memories.
