Horrible delay!

At Gatwick Airport at the moment and have just checked in our luggage only to be told we have a delay of 10 hours!!! Have been travelling all night and are so disappointed to miss a day of our holiday. Being transferred to a hotel now for 6 1/2 hours! Roll on tomorrow!

looks like flight xla5038,which is being shown as delayed,we are on the same flight next friday,we also used this flight on 5th may earlier this year,5 hour delay then, we lost our first evening,these people half a day at least,whats going on,(by the way we then had a 12 hour delay coming home)we book these flights well in advance paying premium prices,then they do this, i know its great once you get there but you cant get the lost time back.b.a. flights from now on ,hope they are better,dont like to moan just before an holiday,but i think we are being badly treated.

Has anyone got a website address i can check on possible delays? im due to fly XLA tonight! Leaving work at 3pm so if i can check before then be great.

Just do a search for your departure airport in google.
