We have just returned from 2 wks in Icmeler, first time in Turkey for us and def not the last.
Had got lots of useful info and tips through the forum which set us of on good stead.
Stayed at Efes Inn, had room on 5th floor with lovely sea and pool view. Turkish breakfast got a bit boring after a while but we had lots of full english in other places.
Tried lots of places for food and nearly all were excellent
Richards Place was really good meals were top quality ate there twice and each time fantastic, Waiters were really nice and put on a fantastic show, Richard was also really nice and made a point of coming round to speak to everyone, Had 5 course meal for 17-25 lira, excellent value.
Taj Mahal, meal again excellent and im very fussy about Indian food! Also ate at Florida twice, Timeless (Roma prepared lovely turkish dish), Kingsland chinese, Valentinos (prob least enjoyable place for me) Efes Inn meals were very good too,lunches good value also, Sure there were lots more but cant rememeber them all.
Donna at ICR was great, really helpful, booked turkish baths with Donna and got info about other things(thanks for hairdresser recommendation, was really pleased with results)
Did Talk of the Town show, Lazy day bbq (twice) and dalyan trip with mud baths, all good value.
Could go on forever but I will shut up now, Really enjoyed our time in Icmeler and rest assured we will return!
