Hi Simon

You are actually a little bit away from The Waterfall in the Kleopatra apartments ... I think your best bet would be to get in the dolmus ... which is only 1 lira per person and ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to the Waterfall!

We were staying in the Club Aquarium when we 1st discovered the waterfall & for convenience sake & laziness ... we just jumped in a taxi!!! I guarantee that whatever way you get there ... you will find your way back to it during your stay!!! Have a fab time & let me know how you all get on!!!

Hi Simon

Trust me ... your wife will love the restaurant ... make sure you take a camera!!!! & you ? You will LOVE Oscar's ... think even the wife might enjoy it in there!!! Say "Hi" to Josh for me ... we've known him for years & he, Mehmet & their other partner all work really hard at staying behind the scenes ... yet making sure that your time spent is relaxing and fun!!! Have a ball & think of me slaving away at work ... 30 odd years until retirement!!!!!

Hi shauna simon here i looked on another post and they said that the waterfall is on the road on the icmeler online map near hotel 15 and 24 i think i recon my old legs can walk that far but i may have to persuade mrs simon that efes is an effective leg linament when taken internally . will my teenage son and daughter enjoy this place. my daughter like music and dance( studying for a degree in dance )17 years old been dancing since 4. I think she gets her skills from me honest  2 left feet are so right to dance . why though does she say when i dance i embaress even if i am alone :?: i reckon she is just jealous of my obvious talent  my son like all 16 year old boys just whants to wind up his sister  Mrs simon says will the votka be cold and the food be gorgeous. will have to force them all to go.
7 days to go but whos counting

Hi Simon

Trust me ... your daughter will love this place ... they love dancing ... and will only be too happy to dance with her ... bet they even manage to involve your son in one way or another ... & I reckon that you will be able to enjoy a quiet efes while Mrs simon & all the little simons get entertained!!!! What more could you ask for???? A fab restaurant and brilliant bar ... all within crawling distance!!!

The entertainment in the bar begins around 10pm ... giving you enough time to enjoy a leisurely family meal ... DON'T forget the camera though ... that just might land you in hot water with Mrs Simon ... and if you're looking to enjoy youe Efes ... you really don't want to be doing that!!!!

Have a fab holiday ... & let me know how you get on ... only 11 weeks now until we go back!

Something about the place really seems to get to you doesn't it? Can remember my friend & I discussing people who went to the same place every year ...NOT US!!!! We want to see the world ... & then we went to Icmeler!!!!! I love that place .... specially the Waterfall & Oscar's ... even when you go inthrough the day ... they're there ... ready to help you ... smiling as always!!!! How do they do it????? Fall off my seat if they were that nice to me over here!!!!

I know exactly what you mean Pauline. You'd be very suspicious at home if someone was that nice to you in a restaurant, its just not the done thing. But in Icmeler, well thats the things we all remember and love about it, it just seems to draw you back year after year. Never thought I'd go back to the same place twice but this will be 4th time in Icmeler, and probably still be back next year. Each year we've said we'll go somewhere different next year but once we're at Icmeler we always say oh I just want to come back here again!

Hi Dotty

Nice to have another fan!!!! Have you been to the Waterfall or Oscar's???

You seem to be a bit like us!!!! Every year we say that we are definitely going to go somewhere different & yet evvery year when it comes to booking ... we end up back in Icmeler!!!! As I said ... we came back last Monday ... God ... it seems like ages ago and in 11 weeks ... we'll be back!!!! It's addictive!!! But it's brilliant seeing all of our friends again!!! Get such a massive welcome every time we go back!!!! As we've decided .... Why pay to go somewhere that you might NOT enjoy ... when you know that you can pay to go there and thoroughly enjoy it!!!!

Hi Lizzie

Glad you had such a great time at the Waterfall & Oscar's!!!! Was that your 1st time in Icmeler ... or had you been there before? Being nosy now? Just wondering if you've been bitten by the same bug as the rest if us & it certainly sounds like it ... 74 sleeps ... I thought we were bad!!!

We are going to be there from the 22nd Sep ... so we will most likely bump into you then!!!!

Did you get to know all the guys when you were there? Hilarious when they aren't working ... aren't they?

Take care.

Poor poor Mrs Simon ... what a fab holiday you are all going to have!!!

Details of all your holiday mishaps will be much appreciated upon your return ... and by the sound of your earlier messages ... I'm expecting a few!!!!

Hi Simon

You're going to have such a great time ... I really can't imagine Mrs Simon getting bored!!! However, if you fancy a boat trip at a quarter of the rep's price ... speak to Josh and he will point you in the right direction as his cousin has a boat he would take out occasionally for tourists!!! We did it last year and had an absolutely brilliant time ... & lunch was included!!!! It was a real bargain compared to other trips and a thoroughly enjoyable day ... we didn't even have to worry about taking pics cos his cousin had hired someone to come along and do a dvd of the trip!!! We enjoyed it more than others as they didn't force entertainment upon you ... realised that we were there to realax & enjoy our day!!

We're soooooooo jealous ... 1 more sleep .... 72 for us!!!!

Looking forward to details of all your escapades when you return ... specially with the water pipes!!!!

Have a brilliant holiday!!!!
