This might be a daft question but when you go for a Turkish Bath where do you put your belongings and clothes? My OH has wanted to go for one for the last 7 years but I never fancied it, however I have agreed to go this time.

Whenever we have been there have been lockers like at a leisure centre, obviously take minimal stuff anyway.

the one we went to had lockers they are safe so no need to worry you had the key on a wristband

There's lockers as others have mentioned, went for my first one last year after a good few times of being to Turkey and have to say it was excellent and will hopefully be doing another this September you'll love it.

Although the Turkish Baths provides lockers, and your belongings are safe, we leave our valuables in the safe back at the hotel, and just take with us what we know we are going to need.

Thanks for all your replies, I'm not really looking forward to it as it's not my kind of thing but OH has wanted to go for the last few years. We did a deal, he took me to see Girls Aloud and he said if he could make the effort to do that I had to go to the Turkish Bath!

I had my first turkish bath a few weeks ago and it was amazing. I really enjoyed it, and when they put that bubbles on you it's like being touched with feathers - and the smell, it was gorgeous!
Our Hamam had lockers in it and was very safe and spotlessly clean.
The massage was to die for, very relaxing and not at all like some of the horror stories I have read about on other sites.
You should try it, like you I was very reluctant - but I would have no hesitation in having one again.

Thanks Blondie2211, did you book with ICR? Which turkish bath did you go to?

Hi Julie
The
hotel we stayed in had their own Hamam and we used that - it was lovely, very clean and lots of roses all round the doors, in between the bath and the massage, they let us relax on the loungers in the hamam reception and have a cigarette and after the massage, a nice long dip in the jaccuzi! Heaven.
