WOW...How hot is it Now ???

just seen the temperature on the home page it is showing 41oC ,when we were there up to 13th July the home page was about 32/33oC.BUT in fact at the Rhodes apart the temp inside the pool bar/restaurant in the shade was up to 40oC + and on the pool side was tipping over 50oC.

its showing 41oC on home page .so i wonder how hot it is in resort,in the sun now?.
did notice in a paper today loads of fires in the MED ,and also a big fire in Bodrum..

My friend who works in cupids emailed to say it was 32 degrees at midnight last night and today its 48 degrees - and we got cold and rain!!!

I spoke to my boyfriend this afternoon (he works in Harmony's) and he reckons that it was about 54C in the sun (and in the shade too). He said that it's absolutely boiling and that even he's having trouble coping with it.

my turkish friends are even saying its really hot and that they are struggling to cope with it
sucks when all we are getting here is rain and freezing cold temps

another update from Harun at Cupids, hes saying its 34 degrees at 10.30 pm - must admit that is hot.

Will try and keep you updated whenever he lets me know the temps are as i am sure other members will.

Wish i was there now, its cold and raining in Blackpool, when we were over there at the beginning of june it was 40 degrees at 9 am in the shade next to the pool!!!!!

Only 40 days of rain to go lol

We were there the same time as you then, from 3rd to 19th July! And you are right the temp was really hot then, unbearable sometimes!

An update for today - has been 48 degrees but now down to 35, harun went a got the temp for me now hee hee

still wish i was there rather than here.

Its freezing cold and absolutely p*****g it down with rain . . . . . . . . . . . . . . OOPS sorry that is the weather forecast for Blackpool

we go on Friday so am all geared up for "too hot to handle", just the ironing to do and am all set

We came back 6 days ago, the first week the weather was great for sunbathing- bout 45 - 48, but our second week we had temperatures well into the 50's and it was sooo hot. My hubby and I had walked from our hotel to the banks and by the the time we got into the air conditioned one, my whole body was pulsating and the sweat running down me like a river!!

At night walking back to the hotel - think it was sunday or monday night, the new little wooden building (think it's a tourist info place) had a flash sign that came up and it was 37 dgrs and that was around midnight!

We spent a lot of time in the pool cooling down, so anyone going out, prepare yourselves for that blistering heat and make sure you have air con in your room!

Am so glad its not just me who ends up sweating like that Blondie. I wish they'd invent deodorant for faces

We've still got 2 and a bit weeks before we go but in august its the same heat as you had but when there's a breeze we all try and walk into it.

Still bette r than very rainy and grey Stockport. I blame the government since they announced the heatwave thing in June, we've had nowt but rain, wind and storms with the odd hour or so of sun.
