A fuse blew or shorted in the fusebox in the room and as it was 9pm and no staff around the lady ran downstairs to get help and a barman from the Scotia bar came runnnig and in his great wisdom decided the best course of action was to throw a glass of water on an electrical box.
This resulted in lots of sparks and worsened the situation.
Donna was on call at the time and with help on the phone from Sharon in the resort was quickly controlled.
The lady decided to leave but there is no one harmed and the electrician is actually there now doing the re wiring

Aww bless - they're a great bunch of lads in the Scotia, I'm sure he was only trying to help (even it it was the worst possible thing to do under the circumstances!) Glad to hear it wasn't anything too serious - we stayed at the Iguana in June and loved it there.
