It isn't for me it's for my mother.
She has asked me to find out as she says she wont be out everynight for 3 weeks.
If anyone could actually help i'd be very grateful.
Thanks

Some of the hotels and apartments actually have tv's in the rooms, have you checked your hotel/apt to make sure. Sorry don't know where you would rent one at.

Now I am rubbish at directions, but if you turn off the main road at Tansas, walk past the Wayside restaurant and go to the main road where the road forks left, turn left where there is a triangle in the middle of the road, if you keep walking down that road for about 5 minutes, on the opposite side of the road there is a shop that does satellite dishes and TV's. He rents them out to hotels etc, so I am not sure if he would rent them to a customer for a few weeks or so, but its worth a try.

Sorry my directions are a bit naff though. Good luck.

I am a bit confused Maggie cos if they don't have TV's in the rooms there won't be an aerial either so you won't get a picture on the tv?

You could take a portable dvd player and some dvd's (or buy some good copies over there) for her to watch in the evening.

I done this in May when we came in at night watched episode of Royle Family or whatever dvd I had before sleeping.

Don't know where you could hire a TV but we take a protable dvd player or download movies onto the laptop. Somtimes its nice just to sit in with a bottle of wine and a few beers and watch a movie.

last year when we stayed at the apartments we stayed quite late into the season and the owners family had come to stay. When walking past their room one night their door was open and they had a television in their room. Also I am sure if there weren't any aerials in the room then the receptionist would have told me. Perhaps it will be easier to take my laptop we got quite a few dvds last year and the quality was brilliant.
I am a bit unsure to take my laptop as there isn't a safe in the room.
Thanks for your help everyone,
Maggie

You will need connection to a satellite box to pick up anything though, wont you?? I would follow everyones else advice and look into a portable dvd player or your laptop. The TV really isnt up to much.
