Milas Airport Bodrum

Milas Airport is also in the Mugla District and is used as an alternative to Dalaman by some people when heading for Icmeler. Has anyone used this route recently and if so what were your experiences and opinions mainly concerning the Airport and would you recommend travelling to Icmeler this way.
At the Airport what were the arrival and departure procedures like also the price of food and drink within the Airport Food Court in comparison with Dalaman.
Would you come by this way to Icmeler in the future.

john as you know, six of us came back sun 12th july . excellent airport ,quiet, no q ,s 2 flts per hour , transfer 20 mile more but very relaxing,no walking ,very compact . ttfn bill atkinson

don't think I could bear to travel any longer to get to Icmeler. 90 mins is long enough , especially when you are desperate to start your hols

maybe it would be worth it though to avoid Dalaman

ICR do transfers to and from Bodrum - give them a ring and they'll be able to tell you all the ins and outs.

We flew from Bodrum airport two years ago and had no complaints with the airport whatsoever.

Unfortunately the reason we ended up there was because half an hour from Dalaman airport our flight was moved to Bodrum!!! The transfer took us about four hours in the end....now that was an issue!!

We flew to and from Bodrum last year as we went to Bitez...didnt like Bitez but another story!The airport is tiny,all new but very small in comparison to Dalaman.Prices for food were the same as Dalaman.Not many shops.Dalaman wins hands down there and it felt very cramped compared to Dalaman.We may have been lucky but since Dalamans new airport we havent had any problems....except with food and drink pricing!I'd rather use Dalaman any day.

Thank Julie, I was trying to see if there were any differences in the prices of Airport food and drink between the Milas and Icmeler.
I agree transfer from Dalaman is far enough but when looking for a flight it maybe neccessary to check out Milas
