Postby Ian&Jo » 04 Jul 2009 12:46

by booking another trip in october! :D

only been back just over a day but icmeler is such a good place,we couldnt wait another year to go back.

this time we are staying at the hotel devamli. has anyone stayed here before? we went to the loveboat and the sports inn bar on many occasions and we were very impressed with both of these.

Ditto, we are going back in October, booked it the week we got home - 3 weeks ago. What date are you going? We are back on Oct 8th - 22nd.

Sorry I cant help with the hotel, never stayed there.

We stayed at Hotel Devamli last year and loved it, couldn't get in for this year booked up!!

Rooms are spacious, cleaned daily and towels & shhets changed every other day. Bathroom has a shower cubicle in so you don't flood the place when you have a shower lol. Ask for a room at the back as it can be noisy if you get one on the front and my only complaint would be the air con it turned itself off most of the time and had a mind of its own!!

It will still be hot in September. We usually go the first two weeks in October and its only an occassional evening that I need to wear something on my shoulders.

I'm trying to do that right now - but the price of flights from Scotland has shot up - they're outrageous now! Hubby's now talking about trying somewhere else instead - but I just want to come back to Icmeler for my next fix! Help!!!! :(

we tried just booking return flights as we were going to stay above the bonjour, but the flights were around £600 for the both of us.

we then saw a package deal less than that for everything included.

its a funny old world at times :?

Hotel Devamli. Where do i start. You cant fault the place clean tidy and all the lads from sports bar Tiger, Mustafa, Speedy, Ozzy, Hakan, Dj Akif, Ronaldinho are all top quality geezers. The manager whose name i always forget is cool too. The new points per spend scheme to be redeemed in the Love Boat is unbelievable, earned 2 x free meals in my 2 week stay. Thanks all for a fab time!!!!!

Hi Elayne, sorry to hear about your disappointment but from all accounts I believe you will find the Bonjour a excellent replacement.

hi elayne,

alex the restaurant manager showed us around the rooms, pool and jacuzzi in the bonjour a few days ago and we were well impressed.

are you in the apartment type rooms? if so,they have a washing machine, ironing board and iron ,tv etc.

the hotel type rooms have a 1 double and 1 single beds in the rooms and a fridge which will come in very handy in the heat of icmeler .

all the staff at bonjour are great, specially alex and fonzi .

hope you have a great time
