oh good...im not too bothered as only use hotel to sleep and get changed in really, but a few things id read were abit worrying...such as no hot water and loose wires and plug sockets, especially as i'll have my 2 year old with me....i just cant wait to get back there....and i've only been home 4 days!!

OMG you're as bad as me - but I know exactly how you feel.... "Only been home 4 days"!!!

I trust the person who said that about Kapmar (she's a friend who lived in Icmeler for years and has a business out there) so you should be fine. As you say, it's only a place to sleep and shower really, how long do you spend in a hotel room? The main thing is it's clean and safe.

Location wise couldn't be better!

Not stayed there but noticed it, and we both commented on how nice the reception area looked.

Renovated Hotel

Postby Janice » 24 Jun 2009 08:48

Hiya

We went with Leon and Mary and Jimmy last week to see this Hotel which used to be the Bella Mare and it is now lovely, very clean and modern and right in the centre of Icmeler. I would certainly book this Hotel now. Hope this helps.

Just got back from Kapmar yesterday. Very nice hotel, Good location (loads of great bars nearby and would highly recommend Dream 3 bells around corner til midnight and Mirage bar after midnight, also Hob Nob and Joe's bar the opposite direction) although if you get a room facing the front it can be a little noisy late on with Bars and passing holidaymakers but as bars have to lower music levels right down after midnight it does get quieter the later it gets (we were never in before 2.30 anyway and by then it was ok). Hotel was very clean, staff very friendly, mixed nationality guests with about 30% British. Always good atmosphere.
Only negatives were no hot water late on ( after 7.30ish ) and could have done with a fridge for water.
We would deffinately stay there again as would other guests we talked to. Wish we was still there. Hope this helps!!
