Hello All

Can anybody tell me if the restriction regarding fluids taken into departure lounges,is still in force. As we are taking a young baby with us we were wandering weather there could be a problem with his made up bottles.

There isn't a restriction on baby milk or water in a baby bottle but an adult may be asked to taste it at security.

There seems to be some confusion about fluids in Dalaman airport as my friend flew home a week ago & she told me that she was allowed to take drinks into the airport she asked the rep he said it was ok, can some one throw some light on the matter please :?: :?

Yes, you can now take fluids into Dalaman.

A good idea to remember this, and buy your bottled water at 0.35 in the supermarkets in resort, as in Dalaman it's extortionate!

Absolutely, hope not too.

Thing was, it was my first time there, and the rep said to us "you can now take fluids into Dalaman" - which made me think they had only just relaxed the restriction, rather than not implemented it yet.

Of course, I'm not sure.

Hi All, Hope I am not in the minority but surely for security it would be better NOT to be able to take drinks through at the airport. we are not allowed in the UK and many other places. I for one feel safer in places where there is a ban and you cannot put a price on safety- especially in this World nowadays.

see what you mean Harley
but don't worry about putting a price on security, Dalaman aren't afraid of charging the most they possibly can to a captive audience!

their prices are nothing short of extortion so am sure they'll seize the opportunity to keep them as high as they possibly can

myself, am of the view that if your name's on it, your name's on it and I'd take my chance gladly to try to take my cheap water through to departures
