Looking forward to Gene`s review. He never fails to inform us of anything new happening. He`s like a male version of Judith Chalmers I mean very informative I always look forward to his return for all his excellent photo`s as well.

Come on Gene waiting patiently.

We fly out from Manchester on the 23rd of July.

The best things are always worth waiting for, he probably hasn't had chance to wash and Iron his new ICR shirt yet.

I'm sure he wont let his public down.

I am finding it hard to write a review for this May/June because this was a different kind of holiday for us this year as we spent a lot of evenings in Marmaris.

We never got to go on any of the trips this year except for a little jaunt on the taxi boat to Turunc.

We did call in Vinces on both Friday nights but only stopped for a short while but did meet a few fellow ICR members,Silverbeard and Silverfox with their families,Hazel and her husband and a few more but after a few Carlsburg I have this tendency to forget names and faces.

Lunchtimes were spent at the Buffalo Bar and the Erdam on the promenade both good value Bars.
Evenings, when not in Marmaris were spent in the Romance Palace,good food and great entertainment.
Friends Restaurent in the square,again delicious food and cracking entertainment (stopped for twenty minutes one night though through police presense in the square)

We did get to the maket on the second Wednesday of our holiday because the first week the market only consisted of vegatables.
But everything is up and running and anyone going to Icmeler Market now will have no problems.

Must mention one morning as I lay sunbathing trying to catch the suns rays at the side of our pool, this family walked up and introduced themselves,it was Pbartlet (Paul with his wife and lovely daugther Sophie)
He presented me with a cup for winning the photogaphy competition,a nice gesture Paul it was much appreciated,but it was unlike me and I forgot to take a picture but thanks again.

Met George and Margo one day as they were takeing in the delights of Icmeler.
Bumped into an old friend from the forum Earl Fint and family one night as we we sat in Richards Place with our friends Barbara and Martin.

The beach this year we thought had a little bit more real sand on it and spent a bit of time in front of the Yakamoz.

A subdued report but we had a wonderfull time enjoying every minute.

August isnt to far away and maybe next time I wont be so idle and have something proper to write about.

Great to read your review, as always Gene. Not at all subdued! Glad you and Anne had a good time
