I see on ICR home page the Lira is standing at 2.50. Can anyone tell me if we can get a deal like that from our travel agents?

hi jane i dont think you will get 2.50 any where yet ,but the post office is giving 2.40 at the moment .

the rate on the home page is the interbank rate you will get a little less than this when you goto change your money

There are a few threads running about exchange rates if you use the search button at the top of the page am sure you will find them
