Old Village

Hi all, I think it is a good idea to clarify the location of the old village for new visitors to Icmeler and anyone who might not have found it before. It is not on the road to Pinewood, Deja Vu etc. It is to the far left, facing with your back to the beach, nestled up against the hillside. It is so pretty with its old houses complete with animals in the backyard. There are some lovely restaurants/cafes up there for a quiet lunch or evening. I think it really should not be missed on a visit to Icmeler to see a little of Turkish life going on away from the loud bars. x

The old Village and surrounding area is beautifull and certainly worth visiting when in Icmeler.

Each to their own but i prefer to stay in the Old Village, best of both worlds, quiet if you want it or if you fancy a good dollop of nightlife it is a 15 minute walk or if it's to hot a Dolmus for about 1ytl.

Love the place to bits only 2 weeks, 3 days and 20 hours to go

i agree with you jonjon
we always stay at greenworld cause you get a nice breeze and its quiet
but the dolmus is always there and for only 1TL we go into the centre every night

i spent most of last week in the old village, maybe i am getting old but i thought that Icmeler was very loud this year, wont stop me from going but will go to the old village or maybe turunc

We always stay at Greenworld to its so quiet and surroundings are lovely
