Booking first holiday to Icmeler tomorrow

Postby bryson182 » 31 May 2009 13:35

Hello

Tomorrow I am going to be booking my first holiday to Icmeler.

I have been hunting all the holiday websites the last few days until someone reccomended trying this website and forum.

I am looking for advice on where to stay. From reading other posts it would appear that self catering or bed and breakfast is the way forward due to the many good places to eat and reasonable prices.

Top of my list at the moment is the Gondol Apartments however, I cannot seem to find any websites to check availablity through.

I am looking for any reccomendations for places to stay. I am looking for a nice clean place to stay for 1 week - arriving on 25th or 26th July (i am limited to a week from these dates due to a commitment back home on 3rd August) I would like to stay in a good area near to shops, beach etc

Hope you can reccomend some good places as i've looked for hours on the hotel review sites and cant seem to see any place that stands out from the rest apart from Gondol (which was reccomended to me)

Thanks

TC do the Gondol as I stayed there last year, but you wont go far wrong by giving Sharon in Liverpool a call now on 0151 289 3939.

Whichever ICR apartment or hotel you choose will fulfull all your needs, brilliant company, brilliant staff and brilliant treatment.

Just call Sharon now who is busy working (just spoken to her about next years flights) while her Husband is busy sunning himself in Icmeler.

Above all, have a fantastic holiday and welcome to ICR forum

Greenworld is where i would pick for self catering
however im not sure if you will be able to get in at this time of year cause they are normally fully booked by now
worth a try
most of the major companies do it so have a look and im sure you will like the reviews
its situated in the old village right at the back of icmeler
but only a 10 min domus ride away from the town centre
its quiet and has a nice breeze during the day which will be needed at the end of july
however im sure any ICR choice you make will be good as they know what they are doing when it comes to selling apartments
hope this helps

Hi Bryson 182, We just got back from Icmeler on Friday and had another fantastic holiday! (it was our 4th time) We stayed at greenworld last year & the place is lovely but it is a very long walk into the centre of Icmeler especially when its red hot which it will be!! (on our last day it was 34!!)
the dolmus stopped at midnight so you will have to get a taxi back! if you want a late night ( but they don't cost that much if you haggle!!) We stayed at Pinewood apartments again this time which I think are perfectly situated just in the "old village" but only about 10 min walk to the centre lovely apartment, nice pool & fantastic staff! we spoke to a few people who had booked with ICR and they only had good things to say ! I would also advise you to have a least 1 night at the Majestic restaurant near the canal - fantastic entertainment & food to die for ! I'm sure whatever apartments/hotel you book into you will have a fantastic time you can't help it in ICMELER!! :D Enjoy I just wish I was still there  !

if you want to book with greenworld direct then PM me and i will give you the details
the dolmus runs until 01:30am i think at that time in the season so you wont have to worry about getting back unless your really late then you will need a taxi
hope this helps
