Hi Welcom to the Forum

you have a lot of very good resturants by where you are staying also you are only 10min walk from the town centre we are staying a cross the road from you and arrive on 17th Aug I would suggest using the search button on the top of the page as there are a lot of threads about best resturants It wont take you long to find your way around and am sure where every you go you will not be dissapointed :D

Nearer Faber (across the road) you have the Dejavu, a stroll along the road and you'll come to Ozzies . If you want a quite traditional Turkish meal keep on going along the road and look for the "Cafe Rose" signs.

Or if you want a bit more lively entertainment head for the canal - Dreamboys is a good laugh.

Just back from Icmeler, and this time we found Vince's, great meals and excellent welcome the only place where the owner sits and talks to everyone, try the fish in salt, I don't usually like fish but finished all my plate and wanted more, also the leg of lamb is fantastic, going back in Sept and I am willing to bet we will be eating there most nights.

Pitbull as already been mentioned be careful with the heat, we went virtually the exact same weeks last year for the first time, 2 daughters aged 11 and 12 and me and the missus, and jesus christ was it hot. The heat didnt bother me though or the kids when it got to hot i just piled my fat masculine body into the pool, it was a bit hard walking in that heat though, although my eldest seemed to manage it when shopping was mentioned. Loads of great places to eat, we never had a bad meal in all the 2 weeks.
