I have eaten in all the places in Icmeler and lots in Marmaris and the BEST meat I have had has been in Vinces restaurant.

Ok he is a friend of mine but the meat melts in your mouth and I do not put my oar in and reccomend places but this time I will.

Hubby and I had the leg of lamb at the Titanic - you've got to order it at least a day in advance, but it's worth the wait. Absolutely melts in the mouth - delicious!

This is way off topic, and I don't advise putting your phone number for all to see. Although we are freindly bunch on here you don't know who else out there with more sinister ideas maybe looking. I advise you edit your number out.

Best Steaks

Postby Lezrt » 20 May 2009 07:07

Hi, I have just returned from Icmeler and sampled several steaks....well it's your duty really isn't it!!!

I never had one bad steak in all the places i ate, but i did have one that just melted in my mouth. It was in Vince's and it was the Plank Steak Gorgonzola.
I don't know what his other meals are like, except the leg of lamb which was the size of a small bull!! and absolutely delicious, but the restaurant seemed busy most nights.

I will definitely be visiting Vince's in September for some more steaks

Vinces Steak Provencal is gorgeous. Proper English breakfasts as well. Wish I was eating there right now.

Have to agree the Wayside is really nice ate their on our last night and I had the salmon pasta and it was lovely. The waiters are also very nice and it is no more expensive than a lot of other places and if you want a nice quiet meal with no hassle try here.
