Onur from Bournemouth

Hi all, just had letter to day from our travel agent telling us that we are now flying with British Midland and not Onur from Bournemouth. The times are a little better as it means we have a full last day in Icmeler. This is our 2nd change up to now and we don't go till August, just hope this is the last change. Although were not bothered at this point it would be intresting as to why we were changed.
Any body else been affected?

hi YES onur air are a nightmare for changes .we are going in june and oct both flights have had changes going and coming home. 4 time changes and 1 day sooner coming home,can,t go into details its to complex. having a long hard think who to go with 2010. having said all this i don,t think they get the best of help from the british airports!!!!!!!! bill atkinson

This could be the travel agent changing them and not the airline. As unless Onur Air are chartering BMI to do their flights then I can't see why you would change airline completely. I was in a travel agents (wont mention name) with a friend a couple of months back while she booked her hols to Goa. I heard the staff talking they said they had a cheaper flight than what they had booked a people on, so they were going to cancel the original flights and rebook them as it would make them more money.

Not realy sure whos doing all the changes, but BMI aren't even shown flying from Bournemouth on those or any dates this year.

we are flying BMI from Manchester in Aug and the flight does not show upon the BMI site thinks it must be because its charted flight

Checked with HT flight experts and they have confirmed it wont of been Onur makeing the changes it is whoever you booked the flights with who decide which airline you fly with.

our flights have changed twice up to now and they have changed us from Onur to BMI.

Our flights have changed too, however better times. We hve a flight from teeside on the morening now instead of the night

Hi we were supposed to be going with onur from bournemouth last year end of september and the flight was taken off altogether,we were offered totally unsuitable alternatives and ended up at home with a full refund.This year we are going from Gatwick june 14 as bournemouth flights to Turkey have not even started then and its a secret for my hubbys birthday.Its an onur flight and I cant find it listed anywhere on gatwicks website or aegean,booked thru another agent.Its sunday evening going out and returning.The flight numbers have changed but still cant find it listed.I have spoken to agent and e mailed and they say they know no different,so am crossing everything!Only just under 5 weeks....havent noticed anyone else mentioning it....ah well we'll just have to wait....e tickets in 3 weeks!

According to Bournemouth airport website, they still have Onur flying out starting from 23/7/09 till1/10/09......No mention of BMI though. I guess that the website isn't updated on a regular basis as they still show the original flight times quoted when we first booked, which had then been changed before the BMI change.
Just hope they dont take off the flight from Bournemouth this year.

Bournemouth airport are owned by same people as Manchester airport, Up untill recebtly manch sirport were still showing XL flights so I eouldnt worry bout them not comeing up they prob just haven't updates. As long as the flight operators name is on there which it is then you'll be fine, as they are the ones that charter the flights and arrange the airline that will be carrying you.
