Swimming with Dolphins

Just checked out the website and have found out that my two children are too young to swim with the Dolphins (aged 9 and 11). Apparently they have to be 12 or over. Really disappointed for them. (Well not told them yet as it was going to be a surprise when we got there so me more disappointed!! Does anyone know if this is just in Turkey or is the age limit 12 years for all over the world?
