maybe when another English team wins the European cup 5 times they might name a bar after them as Liverpool has got then all over the world why are people so bitter

Its nothing to do with being bitter, we said that in a climate where there is massive competition for business, naming a bar after ANY club in my opinion is a mistake, fans of rival teams will not go in, especially local rivals of liverpool. I dont care what Liverpool have won or how many times, business is business and in such a short season you cannot ply your trade towards one fan base.

I know there are tons of Liverpool accents in Icmeler, especially at our hotel.. but Liverpool accents dont mean Liverpool fans.....

I wont be going in there....unless someones going to buy me a beer..

ill probably not go in the lfc bar but the geordie bar did ok when christine had not so sure now because i did nt go in last year but everytime i went in there was a wide variety accents

Thanks for the pics Donna, I liked the 'calm' one especially.
As for the LFC bar, although I am a Liverpool fan (my daughter got married at Anfield) I agree with Colette that they should have named it The Liverpool bar to stop any unpleasantness that will surely arise after people have had too much to drink.
That will surely give us Brits a bad name whoever you support cos after all there is not only us who go to Icmeler, lets just all stick together and not take football so seriously, after all its only a game not a religion
