BMI Flight - should i be worried???

Postby kingtut » 19 Apr 2009 19:59

Hi all.

Just found out that we are travelling with BMI for our flight to and from Dalaman. Not aware of anybody i know that has ever flown with them, and some of the reviews sound a bit worrying.

Has anybody flown with BMI before?
If you have, do you know if there is In flight entertainment? (As i have 2 young boys that could get very bored)?
Is the meal that is served any good?

Thanks if you can help.

I flew with them last year and they were excellent, was supposed to be going with them in June but i've now been transfered to Onur Air going but returning with BM, there is no entertainment on board, and the meal was the best I have ever had on a plane.

Hope this puts your mind at rest

You should be fine with BMI, I don't think they do IFE for short haul flights. You should get a meal though, I don't think you will have a problem with them as they aren't a budget airline and do scheduled flights all over the world so should be a pretty good service.

I would recomend you check about the meal though with travel agent as there so many airlines that wouldn't normally charter their planes out are this year, so suppose it depends on what deal they have offered to who ever is selling the flights.

I've only flown long haul with BMI and it was a journey I couldn't fault, if short haul is as good you will have a brilliant flight. Excellent service, brilliant staff and comfy seats.
