Comparing Resorts

Some of you may have seen my post about Altinkum on another thread and I was wondering whether any other members had been there and if so, what are the noticeable differences between that resort and Icmeler?

while on the whole i agree with john.i think he is being a bit harsh.they have filled in most of it.went there once i was bored to death after two days.that has never happened in the eleven years we have been going to icmeler.

We went to Altinkum for our first stay in Turkey about 15yrs ago and it put us off ever going to Turkey again, but fortunately we did a Gulet cruise around the coast of Turkey after that and saw the real Turkey, and how beautiful it was, called in at Icmeler for the day,loved what we saw so booked for two weeks the year after and have never been anywhere else since. It is like a magnet on your heart.
We decided this year we would have a change and booked to go to Egypt, but we couldn't stand the thought of not going to Icmeler for another year and seeing all our many friends there, so have booked a week with ICR for Oct. We often think what we would have thrown away if we had not given Turkey a second chance. powdie

Obviously you're all going to prefer Icmeler (after all, this is an Icmeler Forum) but having only been to Altinkum, I was just wondering what the main differences between the two resorts were.

Icmeler sounds wonderful, so I'm sure I'll be agreeing with you all when I see it for myself in less than three weeks time.

I wish it was the 23rd of June tomorrow!!!
