Hi Carly

Do you mean "Remember" by The Underdog Project - do a google search and you'll get it on Youtube.

Mazz

PS they're STILL playing it!

Yup that's the one Gene!

Just listened to it again, along with Summer Jam and Saturday Night and for just a few minutes I was transported back to Icmeler... laid out on the beach outside Yakamoz... the sun beating down, the sky as blue as anything and Patrick and Ibrahim entertaining everyone.... lovely!

When we heard this (non-stop) in 2006, we usually found it played soon after/before another song called "Summer Loving" by Musikk

Enjoy!

Not sure what happened to my last post above!

Anyway, what I meant to say was...

If you remember The Underdog Project (UD Project)'s track, then you'll probably also remember "Summer Loving" by Musikk - both usually played to death back in 2006!

Enjoy!

Bring on the dancing boys.
You cant beat a bit of nostalgia.
I have been waiting a long time to return to Icmeler and these old tunes are bringing my return just a little bit closer.

I have just spend a lovely half hour looking at all the links for the songs. All that's missing is the sunshine, the Efes and the great company in other words paradise. Oh well only 75 sleeps to go.
Thank you everyone.

I think it's amazing that I absolutely hate this kind of music, I would never listen to it ever. Yet when I hear it in the bars of Icmeler it just seems kind of right, and occasionally when I visit the mother in laws and she has the chavchav music channels on, you get the odd blast of summer jam or summat like and it transports me back to my favouriate place on earth.

 becuase i'm not going this year.

If you do a search for Tarkan - Simarik lyrics rather than KIss Kiss it's on most of the lyric sites

Firstly, Simarik (Kiss Kiss) lyrics:

http://www.lyricsdownload.com/tarkan-simarik-lyrics.html

The Tarkan song has been played for almost 10 years now!

Also, if you like Tarkan, try searching for Ismail YK on Youtube, He has the biggest selling album with all 3 of his albums to date, and is similar to Tarkan. He was part of Yurtseven Kardesler, who you may know from some bars in Icmeler, with the song 'Sevdaliyim'...
