fingers crossed, if Icmeler prices DO go up, then that sort would be less likely to come - less ££££s for their booze

there's no way they'd stop me from going to Icmeler though - there are far too many great folk who go there and at the risk of repeating myself, the hospitality is second to nowhere

Just wondering !!

I know this is an old topic, that I raised in the middle of December or so.
Has any one who said they were trying somewhere else. Due to Turkey becoming more "expensive". priced up an alternative to Icmeler
Ive been hearing some strange tales , from work mates etc.

Reading the forums of other countries, especialy in the euro zone, I think they are all coming over here .

we have just come back from visiting a friend who lives in spain, it was ridiculously expensive... we thought it was a third more expensive than here due to the exchange rate. if you see an item marked up in this country in both currencies... it will say for example £10 then 15 euros... but because the pound and euro have parity... then that item is obviously costing £15 if you pay in euros and £10 if you pay in pounds.  I think this illustrates the point.  next time anyone is in debenhams, they mark their goods in both currencies... you will see what i am getting at.

Whilst I hope that the people in Icmeler have a bumper year, because of the situation with the euro... (they really deserve to, after some really quiet times)... I too, cannot bear the thought of the drunken revellers we see all too often in other countries and of course the towns of the UK.
We don't need it spoiling for those, who return year after year, to the friendliest place on earth.
