I'd say there were more dogs than cats, but they're no where near as big a problem in Icmeler as they are in Greek islands.

You should have no probs eating out, IF any cats are hanging around just tell the waiters and they'll shooo them away - I detest animals in eating places

I'd say really they keep themselves to themselves...i have never known them to be much of a fuss. You get the odd one coming into to restuarants, but the waiters will be on hand to get them out.
Shouldnt put your friends off!

The cat in the Diva bar tried to intermingle with me last year and was promptly hoofed across the bar

Hi Leevi

I don't think there is much problem and we don't really see alot of them in eating places, you occasionaly pass one in the street but they don't come near you. The only thing I would advise against is going to Marmaris marina as there are alot of cats there and as you eat outside there, the cats do tend to come in and in some places the waiters havent been to quick to shoo them away. That is if you plan to visit marmaris that is.

I love cats and even i don't see enough of them. I would encourage them and they still don't surface so i don't think your friends should worry

With you John, for once, on this. Dont like to see them around food and the waiters dont always bother to get rid of them until you complain. Must say my OH's foot seems to get the twitches when they are rubbing around him, but not enough to hurt them only get rid. Mind you there a few things more irritating then cats!!!!!
