Yeh Im thinking on the same lines, if they havnt enough bookings they move you. it happened to us last year, if anyone remembers my post a while back.
They said the"plane" was cancelled, but I know that plane was still going and I kicked up about it big style on the phone, and the plane suddenly appeared again, and they rebooked us

, but we had the same flight referances etc.
Right Im off to work

Last year we flew with Onur from Manchester and experienced a 5 hour delay outbound, however, this was due to a number of travel companies going bust. We were all seated in the departure lounge at Manchester Airport, having purchased our duty free's when a tannoy msg called out 20 to 30 names. These people were asked to go to the service desk, whereupon they were informed that their holiday company had gone bust and these poor people had their boarding cards taken from them. There were many families stranded airside with no idea of what to do and all in various levels of disbelievement and distress.
On boarding the flight, which was called on time, we were then informed that some luggage needed to be removed from the aircraft as the passengers were no longer on board, This took a further 90 mins, by which time our take-off slot had been and gone. The captain came on and informed us that he was waiting for a new slot from Brussels. This duly arrived, we pushed back and started our taxi to the runway, amidst much cheering from the passengers. The worst was yet to come.... we then were informed that some luggage had not been removed, regulations state the flight cannot go if the aircraft has bags without the passenger. We were sent to a hard stand to await Serviceair to come and find the bags but as this was now peak departure time we would have to wait 90 minutes before they could get people to the plane to offlaod the offending bags. Some 120 mins later we were ready to go but there was nearly a riot on board as the cabin crew did not even offer/serve any drinks or light refreshments and their attitutude was appalling. The Captain was the only saving grace on this flight as we got constant updated, he was Dutch.
Notwithstanding, we have again booked with Onur Air for this September from Birmingham, I did not see last years episode as all their fault, and their flight times and prices were as we wanted.
I have since received a call from our travel company advising of flight time changes. We were due to travel 07.30 of 06/09, we are now leaving at 18.10 same day but the return times are better, instead of an 03.50 departure on 20/09, we are now scheduled to leave at 14.45.
I'm just waiting for the next call with more flight revisions...... Watch this space.

We were on the same flight. Our name WAS called but fortunately, or unfortunately there were two families of the same name travelling with two travel companies.
But as said it was not Onurs fault.

Just had our onur air flights brought forward by 10 and a half hours. Not happy about it as we have to take an extra day off work, and the return flight is now at 6.40am.
