I'm pretty sure the visa is valid for 90 days from the date you first arrive in Turkey.

Visa lasts 90 days. We checked at the airport last October as we hoped we had just made it, were told o.k. at first then they checked again and said no. Glad we got another as we were talking to someone on the way back and they were one day over and it had cost them £100 each plus a lot of nastiness at passport control.

You will need a new visa for the August holiday because on your return on the 21st August it will have been 92 days since it became valid.

Defintely 90 days, it tells you on the little sticker they put inside when you pay before going to show the Policeman who then stamps it.
