If its anything like last year we'll arrive about 4.30 pm and it'll be straight into the pool once changed with my 2 year old, leaving the other half to unpack and chill on the balcony, then its a quick wash and change and down to noels for a great meal, few efes or two then on to meet old friends from previous visits

It will be straight down to the Bamboo for us this year, as our best friend of 15 years took over last season, so it will be time to catch up on all the gossip, who is engaged, who got married and who is expecting a baby. Our son will get married in June next year so I have a bit of persuading to do during our three week holiday, hoping that at least two of them can come to the wedding (If only I had a fairy godmother!!!!!!!!)

Getting excited just thinking about it.

We arrive in resort bout 6.30-7am, put our cases in our room, and head down to the shop for some water, milk bread etc, come back and unpack with a cuppa.

Have a couple of hours sleep if we can, then it's a wander around (this year straight to Tansas to spend our left over liras from last year to stock up on essentials we didn't bring with us) and back to the pool till around 5pm, shower and change then out for our first meal, don't usually go far so usually Cubanna's to see the lads and have a few drinks, then back to the apartments and finish the night off with a few brandy and cokes on the balcony then crash out till Allah man wakes us up at around 4am then cuppa and biscuits in bed then up around 8 - 9am and start all over again.

Dreaming/longing for our next holiday in Icmeler is the only thing that makes me go to work every day to pay for it all............ :D 8) :D 8)

Just booked today and we should be arriving in Icmeler around 5pm. I will unpack first, since we are there at a tidy time, down to the bar for a couple of drinks, then out for dinner and visit our friends.

Hi Alison

I dont know which route we will be taking as we have never been to these apartments before, so it depends where we are, but no doubt we will manage to get around a few of our haunts on the first night

Last few years we have arrived in Turkey in middle fo the night and got to accomodation about 5.30-6am. Go to our room and check it out and unpack, then head out for a walk, back to the room showered, changed down for breakfast then off to the pool,go for lunch and back to the pool maybe lie for another hour or 2 then go up to the room for a sleep before getting ready to go out at night...roll on august

We hope to be arriving mid-afternoon, which sounds like it'll mean Bamboo for a late lunch (mixed pizza for me, mushroom pizza for Rosie and pasta for Sophie; plus an Efes, Diet Coke [as it's lunchtime] and Cinderella respectively).

Then in the evening it'll probably be Villa Kontes or Venice, or more likely some combination of the two.

Ahhhh! Happy days 8) 8) 8) .... Just can't wait.

We should arrive about 12.00pm doing the coach transfer this year and our first day will be spent lazing around the pool, chilling out with a nice cold glass of Efes in my hand. Can't wait not too long to go now

Doesn't take much planning - it's hardly changed in 10 years of going there!

(We are more adventurous in other restaurants, I should add... :) )

Cheers,
Paul.

we have usually got there late afternoon, quick transfer with ICR, get keys, put bags in room.......then down to the bar to chill in the last of the sun, and have a beer.....

then shower, and off out to visit friends we have made :D

this year it will be almost midnight before we get to our apartments, and i am guessing we will be starving, so not sure what our plans will be

We will get in around 1:30 - 2am. We like to unpack straight away and get a few hours kip. The first day we like to re-charge our batteries and relax with plenty of nice cold efes by the pool and at night - first stop will probably the champagne bar for some delicious food, the go around and catch up with friends.

After that, we just play it by ear - as long as I get to catch plenty of rays as I'm a sun worshiper - and in July - we certainly get plenty of that 8)

Hope everyone, has a happy fun-filled time when you are all in your home-from-home :D :D :D

Hi

Over the last few years we have always arrived in the early hours of the morning due to getting a night flight from Manchester so we used to dump the cases, go for a walk and watch Icmeler wake up.

This year we should arrive in resort about 5pm, so it will be dump the cases straight down to see Oz at the pool bar and catch up and then off round Icmeler to say hi to our friends and most prob have our first meal in Cupids, I'm think the Garlic Steak (yummy).

Then its party time till the early hours when we will just flake out and catch up on sleep.

Am looking forward to a day flight, never been on one before.

Roll on the end of May.
