Okay, we all like to try and speak a little Turkish while on holiday. Here are some anagrams of everyday words we see and hear around Icmeler. Solve the anagram and add the English translation if you know it.

I know others though Gule gule, bishediye, ballac, visne, nektari, seftali, (spelling is prob horrendous!!) :lol:

8 M D Soul = Dolmus = Those little orange things that run back and fore to Marmaris - we call them minibus too, just like in English:)

11 Y R U kite = HAVE NO IDEA HERE!

Thanks Rami for the Turkish lesson. It would be a good idea if you gave us some Turkish lessons every week. We learn something new every day. I did mean Bende for no 3, so I have learned a new Turkish word today. Beden - body.

Rami, Number 11 - how could you not get the word Y R U kite.

Hehee, I dont have my paper that I wrote them on in work, but I think number 10 was yangin = fire?? which we see driving over the mountains.

Please correct me if I am wrong Rami.

no, you are correct Reesy and how stupid am I :) lolol - actually the reason why WE could not get that one is, in Turkish alphabet we have the regular "i" and the I without the dot on top. Yangin is actually spelled with the I that does not have the dot ;) yangIn , see, i got an excuse for everything -

excuse = bahane =bach-an-a

anyways, good one!!
