Can someone please explain this to me? I thought that Bayram was the holiday after Rammadan and I am sure that it was being celebrated at the start of October. No emoticon, just very confused. If it is a seasonal greeting paralleling Christmas, I'll be delighted to use it, if not, please advise a seasonal greeting for my Turkish friends.

In any case, to all Icmelerites and admin let me be the first to wish you all Nollaig chridheil agus bliadhna mhath ùr. Try a Google :)

And no, it's not sweary words and not Turkish :D

Hi Peli and Jozzyd,

Whilst we're talking regional stuff I was wondering if you could tell me about something I was reading in the news today...

Apparently groups of youths are targetting dentist's surgeries in your neck of the woods, and for ages police were stumped as to why. There was no cash being taken, nor computer equipment, and even the drugs cabinets were untouched.

Eventually they found out the the only items missing were dental hypodermics. Apparently it's part of a new drugs craze sweeping the area: "E by gum"!

Sorry, very bad joke, but somehow it seemed to fit :)
